(TSX: WRX) (“Western” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Western Potash Corp has filed an updated NI 43-101 Technical Report (the “Report”) for its Milestone Phase 1 Project (the “Phase 1 Project”) on SEDAR on December 29, 2021, in conjunction with the filing of the Company’s Audited Consolidated Financial Statements, Management Discussion & Analysis, and Annual Information Form.

Western Resources Corp. is very pleased to announce that Western Potash Corp., the company’s  wholly-owned subsidiary, has safely and successfully completed the Phase I production drilling program, and has start solution mining into all three horizontal caverns. These are the first intentionally drilled and connected horizontal potash caverns in Saskatchewan, and signify a new and improved method of extracting potash in the province.

Western Potash Corp, the company’s  wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered into a binding offtake agreement with Archer Daniels Midland Company (NSYE: ADM) (“ADM”) for 100% of the potash production (146,000 tonnes per annum) from the Milestone Phase I plant.
